Add Strength Training In Your Week

Goodmorning! Yesterday I sent an article on the importance/benefits of strength training for weight loss!  Here are some additional reasons I lift weights at least 3-4x week:

*lifting weights protects bone health and muscle mass- as we get older both decline and weight lifting can reverse bone and muscle loss! 

*lifting weights makes you stronger and more fit!

*lifting weights improves body mechanics- think posture!

*lifting weights helps with disease prevention

*lifting weights boosts energy and improves mood- I can actually see this in some participants after class!

I'm encouraging everyone to give strength training a try! That's why I added the Round 6 class! It's a systematic full body workout that takes the guesswork out of what you should do in the gym! You can strengthen your whole body in 30-45min because the workout is written down and everything you need is out and ready for you! If 6am workouts are not for you, grab a friend and come get it done at a better time for you!

Monday- supersets for strength and cardido 6am and Barre 6:30p- Round 6 starting at 7:30am and everyday (outside of class times)

Tuesday- endurance ride with run 6 and 9:30 and spin BC at 6:30p- http://www.signupgenius.com/go/4090f4ca9aa2ea20-spin

Wednesday- high intensity kickboxing at 6am- Round 6 will have kickboxing stations

Thursday- spin and barre at 6am and 9:30 and spin bc at 6:30p-  http://www.signupgenius.com/go/4090f4ca9aa2ea20-spin

Friday- kettlebells for strength at 6am and HITT spin at 8:30amhttp://www.signupgenius.com/go/4090f4ca9aa2ea20-spin

Add one class different to your normal routine this week and let me know how it feels (other than some muscle soreness) :)
