Belly Pooch from Pregnancy

Hi all!   When you give birth, your abs take a beating! If you have a weak core (lower ab pooch) and suffer from lower back pain at times, check out this article that teaches you a core strengthening technique- similar to the one we do in class....the Pelvic Tilt!!

http://www.npr.org/sections/health-shots/2017/08/07/541204499/flattening-the-mummy-tummy-with-1-exercise-10-minutes-a-day?utm_source=facebook.com&utm_medium=social&utm_campaign=npr&utm_term=nprnews&utm_content=20170807

Highlights from article:

*doing the exercise 10 minutes a day for 3-4 weeks can bring dramatic results- an inch or two off your waist.

*in 12 weeks there was 100% success in repairing Diastasis Rect (separation of the abdominal wall)

*the exercises works best within months of delivering a baby, but most importantly, still brings success years after giving birth!

I say lets try the experiment! Take your measurement around your waist- directly over your belly button and record it. We will perform this exericse after every bootcamp class and you will need to do 10 min a day on your own. Please review with me if your not sure you're doing it correctly. We will retake our measurements in 4 weeks to see our results! Let me know if you would like me to measure you!
