The only bad workout is the one that didn’t happen.

Good morning! Welcome to the 4th motivational quote in this 6 week series! This one comes authentically since I was away for a few days, with late nights and a full condo!

The only bad workout is the one that didn’t happen.

I can tell you it would have been really easy to forgo working out for a few days but I reminded myself how much better I feel after getting some movement in and how easy it would have been to fall out of the habit! You are aware of the compound effect~ defined as "the principle of reaping huge rewards from a series of small, smart choices." Just as investing money leads to greater rewards, so does exercise. Taking action every day, whether for 10 min or 45, will lead to healthier gains.

This quote above reminds me that something is always better than nothing and what's most important is keeping the habit of doing something physical no matter where you are. I know 100% that it was easier for me to jump right back into my gym routine when I returned because I kept my workout habit going. We did a 20 min crusher one day and a 10 min core workout the next. We worked up a sweat, a burn, and felt more awake and ready for the beach when we were done!

Take 10- 20 min daily and work on your body! Whether its a quick 10 min, fat burning tabata, or a 20 min strength workout, do something every day your body will thank you for. You will never regret doing something positive for your body, but you may regret doing nothing at the end of the day, week, month or year!

There are always travel workouts in the gym or I'm a text, email or phone call away if you need a quick workout idea for the road!
