After many years of service as a teacher and counselor, I entered the fitness profession to assist and inspire individuals of all fitness levels, achieve physical wellness. I hold a Spin certification and am also certified through AFAA as a Personal Trainer and Kickboxing Instructor. To contiunue my education, I am completing a comprehensive course in pre and post natal fitness. Having three young children of my own, I know what it takes to get back in shape after childbirth and how to fit a workout in a busy schedule.
I began my career 10 years ago, creating outdoor strength and conditioning classes to help women achieve their fitness goals after childbirth. I also created running programs and interval workouts to help individuals and small groups train and prepare for short and long distance races. I have trained both men and women in a local personal training studio, founded Fit Mom Circuit Training (a female only bootcamp, co-ed spin classes and kids fitness) and now have combined all these services into one location located at Thomas Moreland Fitness.
I offer a bootcamp for women only, to really focus on what matters to them; feeling good and strong, looking good (fit and toned), being knowledgeable about nutritious food for them and their families, and having a supportive, motivating and fun atmosphere to do it all in. I offer high energy spin classes for both men, women, and kids, as well as, small group and personal training for individuals (men and women) who prefer more individualized attention and an individualized fitness plan.
Anyone I train, or who knows me well, will tell you I’m highly motivated and never give up. I’m 44 years old and in the best shape of my life since having 3 children. I eat well, have more energy, run faster, and lift heavier than I ever have. I truly love helping others achieve their fitness goals and use my life experience, certifications, and continuing education as a solid base.
